Habiba

“Muslim women are professionals, mothers, dreamers, thinkers. They're just like any other woman.”

Habiba is a 26 year old ceramic artist and pottery instructor. In the studio is where she can be the most herself, and it is a space that helps her understand herself and her world. Nothing makes her laugh more than watching Ali Wong Baby Cobra on Netflix. Netflix and World of Warcraft are Habiba’s favourite hobbies. When I asked Habiba what her favourite quality is she responded, "Willingness to learn,” and to her what’s most important is, “Self-knowing/discovery. Figuring out who I am and I what I want in life.”
